The intervention
Twelve weeks.
One
defensible
repositioning.
DRIVE is the named engagement we run with a small number of professionals each year. It takes a practice from a baseline Brand Capital Score to a measurable, named, defensible position — with the artefacts to prove it.
For
Senior independents and
operators
scoring

on first pass.
You have a body of work. You have clients who quote you back to yourself. What you don't yet have is a named practice, a defensible position, and an asset that compounds without your hands on it. DRIVE builds those three things.

What "drive" stands for
Five moves, in
order.
D
Diagnose
Full 18-asset audit. Baseline Brand Capital Score, dimension breakdown, evidence file.
R
Refine
Repositioning: name the practice, sharpen the offer, cut what doesn't compound.
I
Identify
Pick the equity asset — the one piece of IP that becomes the centre of gravity.
V
Validate
Test the new position in market. Pricing, language, audience, response — measured.
E
Equip
Documented playbook, inbound system, and the artefact (essay series, book proposal, or productised offer) that travels.
How to use it · A week-by-week look
Twelve weeks, in
four
movements.
One two-hour working session a week, plus async writing between. The shape below is the default; we adjust the pace, not the sequence.
W 01-03
Diagnose — the audit.
Eighteen assets, scored against evidence from your last three years of work. By the end of week three you have your baseline score, the dimension breakdown, and a written diagnosis of where the value sits.
3 Weeks
W 04-06
Refine — the position.
We rewrite the practice: who it's for, what it declines, what it charges for. You leave week six with a one-page positioning paper that your team, your clients, and your future self can read in two minutes.
3 Weeks
W 07-09
Identify & Validate — the equity asset.
We pick one piece of IP — a framework, an essay series, a productised diagnostic — and put it in front of real audiences. By week nine the asset has been priced, named, and tested
3 Weeks
W 10-12
Equip — the inbound system.
We document the playbook: the rhythm, the assets, the inbound mechanics. You finish with a system that runs without weekly hand-holding and an artefact that travels on its own.
3 Weeks
What we ask of you. Two hours of session time each week, roughly three hours of async work between, and the willingness to share the unfinished version. Nothing on this calendar happens without that.
What you get between sessions. Working documents in your own folder, written feedback within 48 hours of each delivery, and direct access on a single channel — not a ticketing system.
What you leave with
Four artefacts.
Yours.
01 . Artefacts
The diagnosis document
Your 18-asset audit, baseline score, dimension breakdown, and the evidence file behind each rating.
02 . Artefacts
The positioning paper
A defensible one-pager: the named practice, the audience, the offer architecture, the work you'll decline.
03 . Artefacts
The equity asset
The piece of IP — essay series, framework, book proposal, productised offer — that becomes the center of gravity.
04 . Artefacts
The inbound playbook
The documented system that turns the new position into measurable inbound, without weekly hand-holding.
If you're earlier than four years in, the work is real — but it's clarity work, not repositioning work. The 90-second quiz and the Brand Capital page are the right starting points.
If you're looking for a content agency or a personal branding service, this isn't that. DRIVE produces strategic artefacts and a defensible position; it doesn't ghostwrite your LinkedIn.
If you can't commit to a weekly two-hour session for twelve consecutive weeks, we'd rather you wait until you can. The compression is the point.

A short application, a 30-minute call. We say yes to a small minority — and we're honest with everyone else about what would serve them better.
